The Covid crisis has been hard for all of us, children especially. And none more so than autistic children who need their routines and, if they are amongst the lucky ones, derive great benefit from attending specialist provision like the NAS Helen Allison School. Most are being home educated during this crisis but the staff at Helen Allison have been developing guidelines for home educators and Simon Collins, the school principal has given me permission to share them more widely amongst parent groups.
